Enjoy...

Edit:

I really wanted to put a description up for this last night but I was too tired but I'll take some time to do that now...

Lately I've been in a fractal "rut" if you will and most of what I've come up with hasn't turned out so well. If you were to look at a screenshot of when I'm in UF you'd see that I have somewhere between 10 and 20 fractals open with maybe 1 or 2, if I'm lucky, fractals that are worthy of submitting. But anyway...

So last night I decided to browse through the most popular fractals hoping for some inspiration. It kinda worked but not as much as I wanted it to. So I ended up doing what I usually do when I get bored with UF. I started straying away from what I'm used to, which for me is really hard. A while back I started experiementing with different formulas and it worked for a while but i eventually went back to what I'm used to. But again, I stray away from my point...

So...as far as this fractal is concerned I used one of my new favorite formulas with 7 layers, the first 4 with the same gradient, just positioned differently and the last 3 are three seperate gradients. I call this one of my "accidents" cause I came up with this unexpectedly, which is always fun when that happens. I decided to frame it because I've noticed that a frame can totally change the fractal and make it better. I used Illustrator and used to eyedropper tool and picked up colors within the fractal until I found the color that I liked.

I hope that everyone enjoys this as much as I do...

Once again, enjoy...

EDIT 2:

Now available as a print (or shouldbe soon...hopefully). It looks different from what's pictured here due to framing sizes. I had to get creative as far as that's concerned. It looks like this [link]

Enjoy...

The colors are perfectly blended for this, as well as nice job on the frame. Great looking flower pattern that is repeated and framed well. What sells it to me the most is the light levels are excellant. Too many overly bright images out there but this one has used the light in a muted, yet uplifted manner. If they would have the shoutboards fixed I'd display it there so instead I'll fave this and have it on my page for a bit. Nice job on this one, it's the best I've seen of todays posts.

I'm so glad you approve. You were one of the few artists that I was admiring last night when I was looking for inspiration. I consider you one of the top fractal artists on DA and for you to acknowledge my work only makes my day that much better. Thanks again for taking to the time to view and I'm glad that you like it...
